Project Overview :

AutoVision AI was developed to push the boundaries of autonomous vehicle technology for a leading electric vehicle manufacturer. The client sought a next-generation AI-driven computer vision system that could interpret road environments with extreme accuracy and speed. The goal was to improve real-time detection of pedestrians, vehicles, lane markings, and traffic signs—even in challenging lighting and weather conditions.

To meet this need, our team engineered a high-performance model using advanced deep learning algorithms and real-time video analytics. The system was designed for seamless integration with onboard cameras, LiDAR, and radar systems, ensuring low-latency decision-making for safer autonomous navigation. Project Execution

We began by collecting and annotating thousands of hours of driving footage under diverse conditions—day and night, urban and rural, clear and inclement weather. Our data scientists then trained convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and transformer-based vision models to accurately detect and classify road elements in real time.

Next, we integrated the models into a custom-built edge AI system optimized for low-latency processing, ensuring split-second decision-making for autonomous navigation. Rigorous testing followed in simulation environments and real-world test tracks, refining the system's performance across edge cases like sudden pedestrian movement or obscured traffic signs.

Throughout the project, we collaborated closely with the client’s engineering team to align with automotive safety standards and enable seamless deployment within their vehicle ecosystem. The result was a highly reliable AI vision solution with over 97% object detection accuracy, ready for commercial rollout.
